Aries Ingress - USA- 2025

The most striking feature of the Aries ingress chart is that four planets—Moon, Venus, Mercury, and Saturn—are peregrine, while Jupiter is in its detriment. However, all four planets have reception, with Jupiter also is received by Mercury. The Moon forms a whole sign trine with Mars, while Mercury and Venus are received by both the Sun and Mars. Saturn is received by Jupiter, though Mars, positioned in Cancer, is in its fall. The Sun, placed in the 3rd house of Aries, is the only planet with any dignity. This suggests that the year will be particularly challenging for the United States. With all the planets either peregrine, in detriment, or debilitated, no single planet qualifies as a clear victor of the chart, further reinforcing the uncertainty and difficulties ahead.

Because the fixed sign of Aquarius is rising on this chart, it remains valid for the remainder of the year until the next ingress of the Sun into Aries, eliminating the necessity of calculating additional cardinal ingresses for the United States. Ruling the rising sign Aquarius, Saturn is located in the 2nd house of Pisces, and forms a conjunction with Rahu Given that the 2nd house governs matters of economy and finance, it’s clear that the nation’s economic conditions will be precarious, resulting in restricted purchasing power for its citizens. The Moon’s position in the 11th house of Sagittarius, signifying the people, and the 2nd house from this 11th house of Sagittarius can directly relate to the immediate financial circumstances of the people of the nation. The 2nd house of Pisces plays host to Saturn, lord of Aquarius; while lacking inherent strength in this placement, Saturn finds itself favourably influenced by Jupiter’s presence in Gemini’s fifth house. Consequently, the nation and its people will utilise their accumulated reserves and savings, rather than directly expending their immediately available liquid assets. In addition, the position of the 12th lord, which governs expenses, in the 2nd house, representing possessions and finances, implies a heightened likelihood of incurring more expenses than necessary. Saturn, the 12th ruler in the 2nd house in conjunction with Rahu suggests that the nation’s spending habits will be impulsive and potentially unproductive in terms of economic growth. The placement of Jupiter in the 5th house suggests a potential for national savings and reserves to grow; however, Jupiter’s position in Gemini (detriment) indicates that these reserves may be used for purposes that ultimately harm the nation. While there will be various innovative strategies implemented to boost savings, many of these endeavours may not lead to tangible progress by the end of the year.

When Ketu occupies the 8th house, it often signifies unpredictable fluctuations and challenges in handling finances derived from outside sources, resulting in periods significant reduction in available funds. There is a potential for the nation to face repercussions, including criticism or a substantial reduction in foreign investment, due to how it manages funds from foreign sources. In the year 2024, it became evident that China was significantly reducing its holdings of United States dollars, pivoting towards gold and other less conventional currency reserves, which occasionally appeared on the global financial markets. A significant market downturn in the United States is possible, potentially caused by foreign nations withdrawing their dollar investments or by accusations from various sources concerning the US handling of offshore investments. In the 3rd house, Mercury—retrograde and lacking dignity—rules the 5th house of reserves. The nation’s attempts to recover its lost wealth will likely result in even greater losses. The nation’s gains will likely fall far short of expectations, as indicated by Jupiter, ruler of the 11th house, being in detriment in the 5th house of Gemini. This year’s economic outlook is disappointing.

Venus, governing home and foreign policy, falls in 3rd house of Aries, a position of detriment, hinting at difficulties in local communication and potentially strained diplomatic efforts. The 4th ruler’s poor placement will cause unrest and dissatisfaction among the people, leading to an unstable and unhappy nation. They will continue to carry a heavy, unspoken burden, a knot of anxiety tightening with each passing day, until the stark reality of their financial situation hits home. The slow shift from everyday essential to a coveted luxury will be painfully felt by many, as they struggle to adapt. The people’s living conditions will worsen slightly, with a noticeable reduction in comfort and resources. With no malefic planets affecting the 4th house and the Moon not closely aspected by any harsh influences, a forgiving tone may prevail among people, though this might differ depending on the region. Somewhere, people will express their views in vocal protests and demonstrations, vital for public well-being, yet these will remain controlled and free of violent clashes.

The US foreign policy will face continued, widespread criticism and remain under intense global scrutiny, making it vulnerable to international judgment. This could cause them to fundamentally rethink their foreign policy, perhaps leading to a complete overhaul of their strategies. When Venus is in the 3rd house as the 9th ruler, it suggests a tendency to hold positions that contradict their own beliefs in history. This decision, while potentially controversial, will necessitate significant alterations, prompting considerable debate both domestically and internationally. The new trade and commerce policies, while resulting in considerable changes, will ultimately fall short, yielding insignificant national benefits and ultimately resulting in failures.

With Mars, the Lord of the MC (significator of the King), debilitated in the watery sign of Cancer in the 6th house, the leader’s emotional vulnerability is laid bare, prone to impulsive decisions that disregard the well-being of the nation. The absence of a challenging aspect between Mars, the Nodes, and Saturn suggests a period free from major crises. The leader, however, might find it difficult to guide the nation toward progress, potentially failing to deliver substantial improvements in the lives of its citizens.  The path ahead may be fraught with challenges, hindering their ability to enact meaningful change.

The looming spectre of recession, partisan gridlock, and questionable leadership decisions paint a grim picture for the United States in 2025. The year will be defined by financial instability, evidenced by shrinking markets and dwindling savings, misguided policy decisions leading to public outcry, and a struggling administration marked by internal conflict and declining approval ratings, creating a period of widespread adjustment, significant hardship, and unresolved political tensions.
