New Moon in Scorpio - November 2025

The New Moon in Scorpio sows the seeds for an intense emotional transformation that helps us reset at a mental level. We are constantly coloured by the noise of the external world, and this lunation gives us a moment to step away from that chaos and return to our inner self. In the modern world, many of us are pushed into actions that are not aligned with our principles, and this New Moon pulls us into the kind of deep introspection that restores our connection with our inner truth.

This understanding of inner truth becomes a powerful transformative experience. It resets the emotional self because our relationship with ourselves improves as we move through this internal shift. The Sun’s stay in Scorpio fuels this process, and the New Moon becomes the trigger point for everything that follows. Over the past few months, we may have understood things rationally, but now comes the emotional release. Now we let go at a deeper level and break the old shackles decisively. From here, there is no looking back.

The memories, wounds and hurts we have carried begin to heal, not because they disappear, but because they lose the power to hold us back. When the Sun burns through the old heaviness and exposes what needs light, we emerge renewed and ready to regain momentum.

A heightened clarity and intuition unfold from this New Moon, even if the realisation comes a little later. We reclaim ourselves within the larger scheme of this year, and with Venus, Mars and Jupiter all strong by dignity, this lunation acts like the catalyst we needed. Jupiter’s trine to the New Moon is another significant blessing. The Moon may be debilitated in Scorpio, which can create initial tension, but it receives support through reception from Mars and Jupiter’s trine. The emotions run deep, but the outcome pushes us forward rather than pulling us back. Mercury turns direct soon after, helping the flow of progress continue smoothly for the rest of the month.

With the Sun in Scorpio, we develop the ability to cut through superficial layers and confront raw truth and raw emotion. The light reaches places we don’t expect. Think of the last light of Durin’s Day falling on the hidden keyhole that opens the doors of Erebor in The Hobbit. It feels similar; something awakening, revealing and transformative. The momentum we gain is not reckless; it is mindful, resilient and sharp. Scorpio season gives us the capacity to handle crises with practical clarity because the Sun illuminates truth and awakens consciousness.

It is important to remember the subtle difference between isolation and solitude. Isolation is when the world turns away from us, but solitude is when we turn toward ourselves. One feels like abandonment, the other feels like awakening. And right now, even if the path appears quiet or empty, we are still moving forward with insight as our companion. When we embrace the moments where life pulls us inward, something extraordinary happens. The real insight arrives. The real transformation begins. Solitude becomes the sacred doorway through which clarity enters, strength gathers and we meet the version of ourselves we have been waiting to become.
